I don’t know if God is outside
Or inside
And I don’t need to know
I don’t need to name this… this…
I just know that
When I am peaceful
I am asked to do something big
When I am peaceful
I know what to do
When I am peaceful
My answer is
Yes.
God?
Yes, whoever, whatever light guides me
Yes.

About the poem:
I don’t see what the big deal is about naming my god or your god, or writing down details about it, that we can’t all agree on. All I know, is that when I’m peaceful, I stop arguing with myself and do bigger, better stuff. Amen. The end.
And getting peaceful is usually as easy as gazing at the sky for a minute, remembering how frickin lucky I am to be alive today.
