How can I play
With every step
In every way?

How can I
Make my work
My play?

How can I
Stay calm
With every delay?

With a light heart
And a thankful way
It’s all play

About the poem:

To be ‘childlike and wise’ means to go through life with a light heart, having fun, loving deeply, and playing hard.

This photo was from earlier today at the Pearl Street Mall in Boulder. This is summer! Carefree kids playing in the water!

Meanwhile, I had one of those days with delay after delay. I missed one bus after another. But at the same time I felt so thankful for …everything! The mountains, the trees, the people, the food. Once I started, the more I was thankful for. Nothing bothered me. It all felt like play!
